A reunion of former Jamestown High School students who rode the school bus daily in the 1960s and 1970s encompassing the area of Garfield Road, Forest Avenue, Orr Street and Howard Avenue in the town of Busti attending Persell Elementary School, Lincoln Middle School and Jamestown High School was held recently at the Allen Park Men’s Club with 75 people attending. The organizing committee included Shellie Brown, Sherrie Brown, Sandy Sischo, Steve Sischo, Tom OBrien, Doug Brown, Ron Madden and Gary Yager. The guest of honor was the group’s bus driver Bernie Dobbins, who is 98 years young. Dobbins is pictured with those attending the reunion.
