Theater Camp and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will be shown this week at the Reg Lenna Center for The Arts.

Tony Award winner Ben Platt and Molly Gordon star in the original comedy Theater Camp (Wednesday at 7 p.m.) as Amos and Rebecca-Diane – lifelong best friends and drama instructors at a rundown camp in upstate New York. When clueless tech-bro Troy (Jimmy Tatro) arrives to run the property (into the ground), Amos, Rebecca-Diane and production manager Glenn (Noah Galvin) band together with the staff and students, staging a masterpiece to keep their beloved summer camp afloat. Theater Camp is rated PG-13 and is 98 minutes long.

In Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Friday at 7 p.m.) Miles Morales, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, reunites with Gwen Stacy, catapulting across the Multiverse, where he encounters the Spider Society, a team of Spider-People charged with protecting the Multiverse’s very existence. But when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must set out on his own to save those he loves most. Anyone can wear the mask – it’s how you wear it that makes you a hero. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is rated PG and is 140 minutes long.

Upcoming Movies at The Reg include Kathy Bates with Maggie Smith in The Miracle Club (Aug. 30 at 7 p.m.) and a 40th anniversary special engagement showing of Brian DePalma’s Scarface (Sept. 13 at 7 p.m.) starring Al Pacino.

Tickets to Movies at The Reg are $7 for movies and $6 for family films, with an additional $1 theater restoration fee added. Special movie engagements are priced differently. Tickets may be purchased from noon to 5 p.m.p.m. Monday and Friday and noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday, by calling 716-484-7070 and online at reglenna.com.
