Reg Lenna Set To Showcase ‘The Wedding Singer’ And ‘Elemental’

The films The Wedding Singer and Elemental will be shown this week at the Reg Lenna Center for The Arts.

Adam Sandler stars in The Wedding Singer (Wednesday at 7 p.m.) as the ultimate master of ceremonies who guarantees all a good time, until he gets left at the altar of his own wedding. This transforms him into a newlywed's worst nightmare, an entertainer who can do nothing but destroy what is supposed to be the perfect day. Drew Barrymore is there to help him back on track. The Wedding Singer is rated PG-13 and is 95 minutes long. This special engagement is part of the Palace Theater Centennial Celebration

Elemental (Saturday at 2 p.m.) is an all-new, original feature film set in Element City, where fire-, water-, land- and air residents live together. The story introduces Ember, a tough, quick-witted and fiery young woman, whose friendship with a fun, sappy, go-with-the-flow guy named Wade challenges her beliefs about the world they live in. Elemental is rated PG and is 105 minutes long. The film is showing as a Sensory Friendly screening.

Upcoming Movies at The Reg include the Yogi Berra documentary It Ain't Over (Aug. 18 at 7 p.m.), the comedy Theater Camp (Aug. 23 at 7 p.m.), the animated hit Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Aug. 25 at 7 p.m.) and Kathy Bates with Maggie Smith in The Miracle Club (Aug. 30 at 7 p.m.)

Tickets to Movies at The Reg are $7 for movies and $6 for family films, with an additional $1 theater restoration fee added. Special movie engagements are priced differently.
