Jaroszynski thanked Fales for her tireless eight years of work, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic with its new rules and regulations. Jaroszynski also read a letter from former Mayor James Rensel, who congratulated Fales and spoke highly of the job she did as clerk, “putting the needs of the village residents first. She worked through several challenging times, including building collapses and multiple tragic fires.” Fales was then presented with a service plaque.
