The First Lutheran Church will have one combined worship service at 9 a.m. Sunday in the Worship Center located in the air-conditioned church parlors.
The service will feature organ music on the 1870 Andrews Tracker Action Organ and the Sacred Fire Praise Team. The 153-year-old pipe organ is the oldest pipe organ in Chautauqua County with 450 pipes and will be played by Brian A. Bogey, organist/choirmaster. The Sacred Fire Praise Team is directed by Kim King, worship leader and coordinator of contemporary worship. Pastor Mark Swanson will lead the worship service and deliver the morning message.
Following the combined worship service there will be a reception for Pastor Mark E. Swanson in observance of his 35th anniversary of his ordination. The Altar Society is in-charge of the celebratory reception. The public is welcome to attend.
