Charity Baseball Game To Benefit Special Olympics

Members of the Jamestown Police Department will again take on the Jamestown Old Timers baseball team in a charity game. The event will kick off at 6 p.m. Saturday at Russell E. Diethrick Park in Jamestown. Tickets are $5 each in the form of a donation, and all proceeds from the baseball game will go to Special Olympics of Western New York. There will be concessions available during the game as well as a 50/50 drawing. Funds raised last year went to the Winifred Crawford Dibert Boys & Girls Club of Jamestown. Players are pictured during the 2022 game between the police department and Jamestown Old Timers. P-J file photo
