Thomas Chase is Southwestern Middle School’s eighth-grade recipient of the 2023 New York State Comptroller Student Achievement Award.

The faculty nominates students who have demonstrated leadership potential and a commitment to public service.

The honoree has shown academic excellence and the potential for leadership through involvement in activities that improve the school and/or the community.
