Paint and The Super Mario Bros. Movie will be shown this week at the Reg Lenna Center for The Arts.

Owen Wilson stars in Paint (Wednesday at 7 p.m.) Carl Nargle, Vermont’s top public TV painter, is convinced he has it all: a signature perm, custom van, and fans hanging on his every stroke until a younger, better artist steals everything (and everyone) Carl loves. Paint is rated PG-13 and is 96 minutes long.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie (Friday at 7 p.m. and a sensory friendly showing Saturday at 2 p.m.) is based on the classic Nintendo video game series. While working underground to fix a water main, Brooklyn plumbers Mario and brother Luigi are transported down a mysterious pipe and wander into a magical new world. But when the brothers are separated, Mario embarks on an epic quest to find Luigi. The Super Mario Bros. Movie is rated PG and is 92 minutes long. Sensory friendly showings are presented with the volume set lower and lights in the theater set higher for patrons with sensitivity issues. Movement around the theater is encouraged as needed. Sensory friendly screenings can be a good first movie experience for toddlers.

Upcoming Movies at The Reg include a 30th anniversary special engagement of Richard Linklater’s high school comedy, Dazed and Confused (June 14 at 7 p.m.), the movie adaptation of the Judy Blume coming-of-age classic Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret (June 21 at 7 p.m., Julia Louis-Dreyfus in the comedy, You Hurt My Feelings (June 28 at 7 p.m.) and Diane Keaton and Jane Fonda in the romantic comedy, Book Club: The Next Chapter (June 30 at 7 p.m. and July 5 at 2 p.m.)

Tickets to Movies at The Reg are $7 for movies and $6 for family films, with an additional $1 theater restoration fee added. Special movie engagements are priced differently. Tickets may be purchased from noon to 5 p.m. Monday and Friday and noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday, by calling 716-484-7070 and online at reglenna.com.
