A purse Bingo event hosted by Lakewood Kiwanis was held at the Lakewood Legion on May 2. The benefit was to raise funds for Infinity Music in Jamestown and the Centaur Stride therapeutic horseback riding facility in Westfield. For those interested in getting involved with Lakewood Kiwanis and helping kids in the community, attending their meetings could be a good start. Lakewood Kiwanis meet on the first Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m. at the Lakewood Rod and Gun. Kiwanis is a global organization with a mission to serve children and communities.
