Infinity Visual And Performing Arts Welcomes New Instructors

Newest instructors at Infinity Visual and Performing Arts.

Infinity Visual and Performing Arts has added Kate Rinko, Gavin Paterniti and Debbie Penley to its team of instructors.

Kate Rinko, dance instructor, grew up in Ellicottville and moved to the Jamestown area in 2015 after completing her degree in communications at the State University at Fredonia. She started working for the Infinity administrative team after graduation and added the role of instructor shortly after. After noticing students wanting to explore within their lessons, she created the Infinite Exploration Program, which is still in use today.

Rinko is returning to the Infinity Team after moving on to become the retail coordinator at the National Comedy Center and Lucy Desi Museum. She lives in Kennedy with her fiance and cats. In her free time, she likes to learn new things, knit, and spend time with friends and family.

Gavin Paterniti, group classes and stage tech, is a lifelong resident of Chautauqua County and the greater Jamestown area. He is a 2005 graduate of Falconer Central School and a 2010 graduate of SUNY Fredonia, where he received his bachelor’s degree in communications. His previous work includes serving as features/entertainment reporter for The Post-Journal, and as digital marketing specialist for the Reg Lenna Center for The Arts. He works full-time as programming coordinator for WRFA-LP 107.9 FM.

Paterniti has been performing music since he first picked up a pair of drumsticks in fourth grade. Throughout his middle and high school career he was a member of concert band, marching band, jazz band and choir; and went on to perform with the Jamestown Community College jazz ensemble and the SUNY Fredonia choir in his college years. Additionally, he has been playing guitar and bass in his numerous bands and projects since 2001, and has performed more than 600 shows in total.

Debbie Penley, art, has been working in fiber for seven years after starting in handbuilt pottery many years ago. With a degree in graphic design, she is also self-taught through magazines, books, and online groups. She has been juried multiple times into several prestigious art festivals and a serving member in several felt and fiber guilds. She still loves learning new things and brings the idea of “play” into each media she explores.
