WARREN, Pa. — A Jamestown woman has been charged with walking off of a Warren County Jail work release program.

Jessica M. Wolfgang, 42, 45 W. 11th St., was charge by City of Warren police on Sunday.

City of Warren police say in an affidavit of probable cause that the department was notified of a “work release walk away” on Sunday night just before 8 p.m., according to an affidavit of probable cause.

The affidavit states that Wolfgang “punched out of work at McDonalds” at 6:46 p.m. and “did not return to the Warren County jail following her work shift.”

City of Warren Police Chief Joe Sproveri said Monday afternoon that Wolfgang is in custody.

She was charged with a single count of misdemeanor escape. No preliminary hearing has yet been scheduled, according to online court records.
