Ryan Restivo

The Dawson Metal Company has awarded a scholarship to Ryan Restivo, a rising senior at St. Bonaventure University.

Since 1980, Dawson Metal Company has been awarding scholarships to children of employees who have been successful in their high school and college careers. The scholarships are competitive and reviewed by outside educators.

Restivo is a 2019 graduate of Jamestown High School who is entering his senior year at St. Bonaventure University studying computer science. Following graduation he hopes to go to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University for a Masters degree in cybersecurity engineering. During the summer he worked as an IT intern at Chautauqua Institution as well as participating in a Research Experience for Undergraduates with Embry Riddle studying the cybersecurity of drones.

Ryan is the son of Marcia Restivo of Jamestown and Michael and Stephanie-Wright Restivo of Jamestown.
