The Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue Dog of the Week is Hindo, a 9-month old big puppy with a bouncy personality and love of life. He is supposedly house trained, good with other dogs and OK with cats; he might be too lively for senior/small dogs. A fenced yard would be great; another playful dog companion might be nice too. He’s just a happy boy! NCCR is located at 7540 N. Gale St. in Westfield and is open from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The website is www.caninerescue.org.
