Jamestown High School December students of the month

Jamestown High School has named its students of the month for December.

Carson Panebianco, a freshman at Jamestown High School, is the son of Mark and Jen Panebianco. Carson is a member of the Varsity football team and JV basketball team. His favorite subjects are science and math. In his free time he enjoys working out and playing AAU basketball. He plans on going to college to become an orthodontist.

McKenna Schneider, a sophomore at Jamestown High School, is the daughter of Kimberly Lombard and Lee Schneider. McKenna plays trombone in both Concert Band and Marching Band, participates in the A Cappella Choir, and is a member of the Quiz Bowl team, Broadcast Communications Club, and Raider Readers Book Club. She just recently won the Poetry Out Loud competition at school and is advancing to the next round. She is also currently in the musical Fiddler on the Roof as Yente.

Meghan Mistretta, a junior at Jamestown Highschool, is the daughter of Susan and David Mistretta. Meghan is the Concert Band president, and is one of the A Cappella Choir librarians. During her summers, Meghan actively participates in the High School Marching Band where she is the rehearsal coordinator. Back in December, she had the wonderful opportunity to go to Conference All-State, where she placed first chair on euphonium. Beyond her musical ventures, Meghan enjoys volunteering for Key Club, and plans to go to college to study social science.

Camden Austin, son of Terry and Leann Austin, is a senior at Jamestown High School. He is the president of Chess Club, captain of the Quiz Bowl team, and a member of Astronomy Club, National Honor Society, and the Mock Trial Team. Camden has plans to double major in mathematics and physics at Clarkson University to become a college mathematics professor doing independent research in the field of theoretical physics.
