SHERIDAN — Need a cabin fever reliever? Mark those calendars for Saturday, Jan. 15 to attend the Lakeshore Flea Market at the VFW Post, 2556 Route 20.

The market is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and features vendors from Silver Creek, Dunkirk, Fredonia, Forestville and Buffalo. Shop for vintage toys, jewelry, mid-century decor, glass, knives, collectibles, housewares, sports cards, coins, records, movies, CDs and lots more. In addition to the flea market, there will be breakfast and lunch served by the VFW.

The breakfast menu offers Danish, breakfast sandwiches on homemade biscuits, fresh brewed coffee. The lunch menu features homemade chili, soup of the week, pizza and wings. The VFW also offers a full-service bar for a variety of beverages.

Most folks do not realize that there are two beautiful rooms at the VFW. Many have dined in the front banquet room during the VFW’s Friday night fish fry. There is a second lovely banquet room where the flea market takes place. This room is available for smaller weddings, funeral breakfasts, showers, school reunions, family get-togethers or whatever your needs. So, come browse on Saturday, Jan. 15 and support local vendors and veterans.
