The Women’s Club of Lakewood recently enjoyed a Holiday Luncheon held at the Marvin House. Guest speakers featured three women entrepreneurs from our area.

They spoke on becoming business owners, running a business and how COVID impacted them. After their panel discussion, they had products from their stores to sell, and helped kick off some holiday shopping.

Speakers included Micki McCray owner of Dot’s Gift Boutique from Jamestown, Kim Carlson owner of Pea Pod & Juniper and sisters Stephanie Lowery and Jaime Nelson, representing their mom, Colleen Anderson, owner of Lakewood’s Gifts of Grace. For a community service project, members signed holiday cards to be given to area homes for seniors.

The Women’s Club of Lakewood invites Lakewood area women to join this nonprofit, social and community service organization. Membership requires a Lakewood residential mailing address.
