Audubon To Host Sunday Story Times Starting Dec. 5

Beginning Dec. 5, every Sunday at Audubon Community Nature Center, receptionist and storyteller Claire Certo leads a free 12:30 to 1 p.m. Sunday Storytime for children between the ages of 2 and 8 and their adults. Participants are welcome to stay afterward and explore the Nature Center building.

The Audubon Community Nature Center will host Sunday story times from 12:30 to 1 p.m. starting Sunday.

Story time is hosted by Claire Certo, Audubon Community Nature Center receptionist and storyteller. Each week new nature-based stories will showcase a wide variety of subjects. Those interested can go on literary adventures with animals, through habitats and seasons, and discover new things with every page each week. The program is freee and designed for children ages 2 to 8 and their caregivers. Nature Center building admission is also free on Sundays. Families are welcome to stay and spend some time visiting with Audubon’s Animal Ambassadors or the indoor nature play area afterwards.

Face coverings are required for indoor activities for ages 3 and up.

Participation is limited to 15. Reservations are requested by Saturday, the day before. To reserve a space, call the Nature Center during open hours at 569-2345 or go to AudubonCNC.org and click through “Upcoming Programs.” Walk-ins are accepted if there is room.
