Jamestown Democrats have opened their party headquarters at 2 E. Fourth St., Jamestown.

Several of the candidates in this year’s city and county elections met to discuss campaign tactics and drop off literature recently.

Gathering for a picture outside the headquarters were Norm Green, candidate for County Executive, Doug Lawson running in Jamestown Ward 5, Billy Torres who is running unopposed for County Legislature in District 15, Ellen DiTonto Running for City Council At-Large, David Smalley, candidate for County Clerk, and Tom Nelson, D-Ward 6.

Additional candidates who were out knocking on doors and unable to attend the photo and work session include Christina Cardinale and Alyssa Porter, both running for at-large council positions, Heather Fagan running for legislative district 12, Regina Brackman, Current Ward 3 council member running for re-election, Marie Carrubba running for re-election in Ward 4, and incumbent legislators Paul Whitford and Bob Whitney, running in Districts 13 and 11, respectively.

There will be limited hours when the headquarters location will be open. Current pandemic precautions preclude the normal several hours a day that the headquarters is manned. Those whho need information or need signs or literature or who want to help make phone calls to help turn out the vote can call 450-7440 to either talk to a live person or leave a message.
