Dawson Metal Awards Scholarships

The annual scholarships for children of employees who have been successful in their high school and college careers were recently awarded.

The winners will all be attending a two- or four-year college or technical school. The scholarships are competitive and are reviewed by an outside party. This year Dawson Metal was pleased to have retired educator, Shirley Daly, review and decide on the rewards to be given.

¯ Jillian Ullman of Allegany is the daughter of employee, Ken Ullman. She is entering her senior year at St. Bonaventure University where she is studying to be a high school science teacher.

¯ Taylor DeLellis of Jamestown is the daughter of Leilonni Goodwill. She will be a junior at SUNY Brockport and is studying physical education.

¯ Kayle Marsh of Kennedy is the daughter of Jeff Marsh. She is a senior at Slippery Rock University and plans to take up pharmaceutical research.

Ryan Restivo

¯ Ryan Restivo of Jamestown is the son of Michael Restivo. He is a junior at St. Bonaventure University and is studying computer science.

¯ Faith Atwell of Jamestown is the daughter of Kim Polenda. She is studying to be a paramedic through the Cassadaga Valley Alstar Training Center.

Dawson Metal Company/Dawson Doors has been offering scholarships since 1980 to the children of its employees who are qualified applicants.
