The Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue’s Dog of the Week is Blizzard. Winter’s coming and who wouldn’t like in their life a dog that can really appreciate the cold weather? Handsome, blue-eyed Blizzard likes most people, but he does get stressed by the noise of the other dogs (this is true for many shelter dogs). He’d like a quieter environment, and he does have the typical husky voice. The Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue is located at 7540 N. Gale St., Westfield, and is open frm 1 to 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday or by appointment by calling 716-326-7297. There is a limit of two people at a time to visit the dogs.
