Audubon Photography Club To Meet Thursday At Nature Center
Capturing The Golden Hour
The Audubon Nature Photography Club is meeting on Thursday, Sept. 9, at 6:15 p.m., at the Audubon Community Nature Center.
Visitors are welcome.
The slideshow for September is a combination of both August and September. August themes were Humor in Nature and Dawn/dusk; September themes are At Work and Motion. September submissions are due no later than Wednesday, September 8, for inclusion in the slideshow.
The Lakewood Library has asked the Photography Club to display photos by members during the month of October. It is expected that photos will reflect Audubon: birds, animals, trees, flowers, landscapes, creeks/river habitats, etc.
The library will host a reception for the exhibitors on Saturday, Oct. 9, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The ACNC is inviting club members to volunteer their photographic talents to cover the Enchanted Forest, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 1-2, from 6 to 8 p.m., and Trick-or-Treat on the Trail on Saturday, Oct. 30, from 4 to 6 p.m. Admission is free for those photographing either event.
Slideshow themes for October are Contrasts and Sunsets. Members are encouraged to submit their photos for these themes for inclusion in the monthly slideshow.
ACNC’s COVID-19 policy, which is kept updated at AudubonCNC.org, is that all visitors, volunteers, and staff are required to wear face coverings while inside the building despite vaccination status.
