Stockton Town Board Member Retires With 45 Years of Service

STOCKTON — Charles Meder has served the town of Stockton in various capacities for 45 years.

At a recent Stockton Town Board meeting, Meder was honored and thanked for his service. David Wilson, Stockton town supervisor, gave a review of the years and the boards on which Meder has served. Wilson said Meder served as a Stockton Town Board member from 1972 until 1981 for 10 years. Then he served as the town assessor for 20 years from 1981 to 2001 and continued his service on the Board of Assessment for 15 years from 2006 until 2021.

The recognition ceremony was attended by many members of Charles’ family. Following the recognition, cake was served to all.
