The Colin O’Brien Maple Springs Mystery series is promoting its third adventure set locally.

Author Bob Terreberry has created a fanciful tale keeping with the specific mystery genre of stories that are termed “cozy mysteries.”

“This is the third book in the series, all set in Maple Springs and with recurring characters and complications that mystery readers will enjoy. In 2016 Murder at Maple Springs was the first book to appear and two years later readers made Reunion at Maple Springs successful and now Action at Maple Springs will work to please readers.”

In this latest addition to the series, an independent movie crew descends on Maple Springs to take advantage of the natural, old-fashioned beauty of the hamlet. The thrilling sunsets over Lake Chautauqua end up being a large part of the artistic lure for the indie production. A variety of other activities are simultaneously occurring as the crew takes up residence. Most of The Springs have returned to their “other homes” and The Springs is welcoming and ultimately a perfect movie location.
