Library Shares Its History

The Sinclairville Free Library has published a booklet on the history of the library to celebrate its 150th anniversary. The Sinclairville Free Library, the oldest library in Chautauqua County, celebrated it’s birthday in 2020 but due to the COVID pandemic, the celebration had to be postponed until this year. A celebration will be held on Sept. 11 in conjunction with the annual History Fair. The book is available now and can be purchased at the library for $5 or a larger donation. Those living out of town can get a book by sending the library $5, plus $1.60 shipping, to PO Box 609, Sinclairville, NY 14782. Pictured is Beth Hadley, library manager, holding a copy of the book.
