Tickets for the 178th Cattaraugus County Fair are now on sale for gate admission as well as all grandstand events.

Tickets will be required for all grandstand shows, even the free ones, and are available at the fair’s ticket outlet, ETIX.com.

Visitors who prefer a particular grandstand section or seat or who simply do not want to wait in line can go on the ETIX.com website and reserve seats by following the prompts. Tickets can then be printed or shown at the gate on a cell phone.

Grandstand events include:

¯ Sunday, Aug. 1 — Broken B Rodeo

¯ Monday, Aug. 2 — Demolition Derby

¯ Tuesday, Aug. 3 — Freebird concert (Lynryd Skynyrd tribute band)

¯ Wednesday, Aug. 4 — Jordan Davis country music concert

¯ Thursday, Aug. 5 — Justin Moore country music concert

¯ Friday, Aug. 6 –Monster Truck rally

¯ Saturday, Aug. 7 — Monster Truck rally / Big Rig Truck Pull

Daily gate admission is $12 for everyone ages 2 and up and includes unlimited midway rides and grounds shows. Pre-sale tickets are $8 on sale at ETIX.com, at various outlets through the area, and at the fair office in Little Valley. Presale prices will be in effect through the end of the day on July 31.

Also, the deadline for entering animals, domestic, produce, art/photography, needlework, antiques and more in the fair is July 14.

The fair book including all needed department, class and section numbers is available at cattarauguscofair.com. General rules and regulations in some departments have changed. The entry form must be printed and either brought to the fair office at 501 Erie St., Little Valley, or mailed to P.O. Box 182. No entries can be accepted after July 14.
