JHS To Hold Senior Prom Event

Jamestown High School will hold a senior prom on Saturday, June 5, from 8 to 11 p.m. at Jefferson’s Athletic Complex.

This will be a Jamestown High School senior-only event. Tickets can be purchased for $10 each from Ms. Drake (102), Mrs. Conti (203), or Mr. Maggio (308) before or after school. Tickets are on sale through Friday and will be presale only. Tickets will not be available at the door.

“We are excited to see that our seniors will be able to have a prom this year,” said Dana Williams, Jamestown High School principal. “With everything the Class of 2021 has had to go through for over a year, we are happy to see that this tradition will continue for our seniors. The health and safety of our students is always our number one priority and we are confident we can hold a prom for our seniors that is fun, but also safe.”

Students will also need to sign up in groups of 10 students for this event. This group of 10 will be students’ dancing and table group for the entire night. Please have student groups planned upon purchasing tickets. If students do not have 10 people in a group, they may still sign up with the number they have. Students may sign up for a group prior to buying tickets, as long as they buy by May 21.

The JHS Senior Prom does have COVID-19 protocols in place that must be followed and are printed on the back of the tickets. For more information, visit www.jpsny.org/jhs.
