Cub Scouts Plant Trees At City Park

Cub Scout Pack 123, with guidance and assistance from city parks Manager Dan Stone, planted eight White Pine trees in Jackson-Taylor Park. The planting was done in celebration of Arbor Day. The trees were donated from Neighborhood Forest. “We love doing service projects like these,” said Cubmaster Joseph Lang. “Not only are we giving back to the community, we are also giving back to the planet. It teaches our Scouts patience and respect for hard work.” Those seeking to learn more about Cub Scout Pack 123 can email them at jtnypack123@yahoo.com, like and follow them on Facebook or contact the Allegheny Highlands Council at 665-2697 to learn more about Scouting in general.
