Small Business Roundtable Event Today

A virtual workshop will be held today to assist business owners who want to go from being a vendor to having their own storefront.

The small business incubation roundtable event will start at 6 p.m. on Jamestown Public Market’s Facebook page and is free to all viewers. The Jamestown Public Market, in partnership with St Luke’s Episcopal Church, the Jamestown Renaissance Corp. and the Small Business Development Center at Jamestown Community College, will be hosting the virtual workshop.

This is the first of several planned workshops centered on small business resources. This event will focus on utilizing the Jamestown Public Market as a business incubator to connect to small business development resources in the Jamestown community.

According to the Rev. Luke Fodor at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Jamestown Mayor Eddie Sundquist will welcome guests and there will be presentations from the sponsors: Linnea Carlson, Jamestown Public Market, Frank Besse, Jamestown Renaissance Corp. and Courtney Curatolo, Small Business Development Center.

The roundtable will feature presentations from three Jamestown business owners who will be sharing their stories and tips for local entrepreneurs. The business owners include Ryan Peterson, Biodome Project, Mike and Sarah Bigney, Crown Street Roasting Company, and Catherine Johnner, Escape Rooms Jamestown.
