Randolph Church Welcomes New Pastor

Jonathan Douglass

RANDOLPH — The First Baptist Church of Randolph has welcomes Jonathan Douglass as the lead pastor.

He grew up in central New York where his dad pastored a church and as a young person a desire grew within him to go into full time ministry. He and his wife, Jessica, along with children Andrew, Bethany, Stephen and Hannah moved to the area in late January of this year and started their ministry at the church on Jan. 31.

Douglass comes to the church with a degree in biblical studies from Baptist Bible College, currently Clark Summit University (CSU), in Clarks Summit, Pa. He also minored in Youth Ministry at CSU and Missions at Spurgeon Baptist Bible College in Mulberry, Fla.

He most recently was the assistant director/houseparent supervisor at Baptist Children’s Home in St Louis where he supervised couples caring for kids in group homes and had the primary role of staff development by actively discipling and training house parents.

He was also privileged to disciple and mentor the kids who were at the group homes and enjoys opportunities to minister to people where they are at. Pastor Jonathan has served in many capacities within the churches he has been involved with. He enjoys leisure time with his family, hunting, fishing, playing guitar, photography and woodworking.
