The Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue Dog of the Week is Sochi, who arrived at the rescue when her owner was deployed and needed to rehome her. She’s a 6-year-old spayed husky mix with gorgeous blue eyes. She keeps a very neat kennel and has lived with another dog, but she tends to be the queen of her castle, so she may prefer a home without another dog and probably is too much for young children. She does seem to do well with all the adults she has met. She’d like to get some daily exercise and would make a great companion. The rescue is located at 7540 N.
