Jamestown High School has named its students of the month for October.

Jack Christensen, a freshman at Jamestown High School, is the son of Toby and Natalie Christensen. Jack is involved in the Red Raider Marching Band and plays clarinet, and also plays the clarinet in the JHS Symphonic Band. Jack is also on the varsity bowling team and in his spare time enjoys playing golf. After Jack graduates from JHS, he intends to study to become an Air Traffic Controller.

Rheese Maggio, a sophomore at Jamestown High School, is the daughter of Branden and Natalie Maggio. Rheese is the sophomore class treasurer and is a member of Ski Club. She also is a member of the Varsity Swimming and Diving team. In her spare time, she volunteers for the mobile market and local market in Jamestown. After graduation, she plans to study law.

Annika Spitzer, a junior at Jamestown High School, is the daughter of Nick and Jill Spitzer. Annika is Co-President of the Junior class and sings in the A Cappella Choir. She is a member of the varsity girl’s basketball team and participates in Key Club. Annika is an active member of Zion Covenant Church, and enjoys leading worship and being involved in their justice programs. After graduation, she plans to pursue music, ministry and travel.

Madison Ventura, a senior at Jamestown High School, is the daughter of Mike and Patti Ventura. Madison is the Drum Major of the JHS Marching Band, and is the Jamestown High School Band President. She is also a member of the Jamestown Express Winterguard. Outside of school, she dances at Dancing with Victoria Performing Arts Centre, where she is a member of the Dynasty Hip Hop and Lyrical Dance Team. After graduation, she plans to attend West Virginia University for forensic science, and she would also like to be a part of the WVU Dance Team as well.
