The Lakewood Rod and Gun Club Women’s Auxiliary recently awarded three $1,500 scholarships to area graduates.

Alexa J. Bloomquist is the grandaughter of auxiliary member Rebecca Bloomquist. A 2019 graduate of Jamestown High School, she enrolled in Jamestown Community College in 2020, and will attend the University at Buffalo in the fall to study marketing and business administration.

Elizabeth Chow is the granddaughter of auxiliary member Suzanne Herron. She is a 2018 graduate of Orchard Park High School and is now attending the University at Bffalo with a major in biomedical sciences.

Gregory B. Nelson is the grandson of auxiliary member Sally Gregory. He is a 2014 graduate of Maple Grove High School and is currently attending Cornell University Law School, focusing in employment and labor law.
