Jamestown Cruise-In Canceled

The annual Jamestown Cruise-In, which brings in about 200 classic and custom cars and trucks downtown, has been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The cruise-in is sponsored by the Jamestown Community Chamber of Commerce and Der Kobblers Automobile Association. In a statement, the organizations said it “regretfully announce that Jamestown Cruise-In will not be held this August. This annual event has been held for 27 years, drawing over 200 classic and custom cars and trucks and thousands of spectators to downtown Jamestown. With a focus on the health and safety of the entire community, the decision has been made to cancel this year’s cruise-in. Plans are already underway to hold this popular downtown Jamestown event next year when cool cars, great tunes from the in-crowd, games, and vendors will be back on August 20, 2021.” P-J file photo
