An uplifting northern Chautauqua County is taking place called Chalk Drawing Showcase.

The Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation is looking for artwork that inspires hope, uplifts the spirit, makes people smile and feel happy, and overall shows how you make others happy! Be creative.

All ages are welcome to create chalk masterpieces in driveways, on sidewalks, and with owners\’ permission, in front of stores! If you are need of chalk, please contact ilord@nccfoundation.org or vhowell@nccfoundation.org. You can also call Ida at 560-5338. We will do our best to get you some chalk safely!

We will present awards in the following age categories 2-5, 6-12, 13-18, and 18 and over!

Once your artwork is completed, take a photo of it and upload it to Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram with the hashtag #upliftCHQ. On Facebook you can tag us with @nccfoundation so we can show it on our Facebook page. You can also e-mail your photo to ilord@nccfoundation.org or vhowell@nccfoundation.org.
