Sinclairville 76ers Meals On Wheels Entertained By Singer

SINCLAIRVILLE — Patty Cook dressed in her country western outfit entertained the patrons of the Sinclairville 76ers Meals on Wheels program in the Sinclairville Firehall dining room.

Meals are delivered three days a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in three vans by volunteers, and the same meal is served in the firehall dining room at noon on those same days.

Those who were present at the dining room were entertained with songs sung from the late Patsy Cline, country singer from the 1960s. The music was provided by Patty Cook’s husband George Cook. Refreshments were provided by Patty France.

Hot meals are prepared in the Sinclairville Firehall kitchen, and kept hot during delivery in special hot boxes which connect to the electrical system of the van. The Sinclairville 76ers is a part of the Chautauqua County Office for the Aging.

Richard Smith of Sinclairville is the president of the organization, and Elsie Livermore is the site manager. Sue Alford is the bookkeeper. Wally Jozwiak is the chef.
