Chambers Receives Development Award

RIPLEY — The NBCC Foundation, an affiliate of the National Board for Certified Counselors Inc., recently awarded a 2019 Center for Credentialing and Education professional development award to CodyAnne L. Chambers of Ripley.

The scholarship program advances the professional identity and development of Center for Credentialing and Education credential holders. Chambers will receive $500 to advance her professional identity and development.

Chambers is an employment facilitator partnering with the local probation office to provide cognitive behavioral interventions as well as job readiness training to high-risk probationers. Chambers is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and Global Career Development Facilitator. In addition, she holds several facilitation certifications from the National Institute of Corrections.
