WESTFIELD — The Westfield Quilters’ Guild donated 165 quilts, 10 bibs, 22 pillowcases, six knitted hats and two pillows in 2019.

Since 1995-1996, a total of 2,690 comfort quilts have been donated.

Guild officials said 2020 will be an exciting year for the guild as members continue to make and donate comfort quilts and other items throughout the year. There are kits, quilt tops ready for assembly and fabric available to members who wish to help the guild reach its goal of 100 quilts this year.

The next Westfield Quilters’ Guild Quilt Show will be Aug. 14-15 at Eason Hall for a chance to view many quilts on display. They will be given away as a fundraiser.

The next meeting is today at 6 p.m. at the Westfield YWCA.
