Tickets On Sale For Million Dollar Quartet Anniversary Tour

The Reg Lenna Center for The Arts will present the jukebox musical Million Dollar Quartet on its 10th anniversary tour. Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning today.

The Tony Award-winning Broadway musical Million Dollar Quartet will be presented at the Reg Lenna Center for The Arts on May 7 at 8 p.m. The production is inspired by a famed recording session that brought together rock ‘n’ roll icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins for the first and only time. On Dec. 4, 1956, the four young musicians gathered at Sun Records in Memphis for what would be one of the greatest rock ‘n’ roll jam sessions ever.

The original Broadway production debuted in 2010 and was nominated for Best Musical and Best Book of a Musical at the Tony Awards. Original Jerry Lee Lewis portrayer Levi Kreis won the Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in A Musical for the role.

Million Dollar Quartet features timeless and enduring hits including “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Fever,” “That’s All Right,” “Sixteen Tons,” “I Walk the Line,” “Great Balls of Fire,” “Folsom Prison Blues,” “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On,” “Hound Dog,” and more.

Tickets are priced at $50, $35 and $25.

Million Dollar Quartet is made possible by the Downtown Revitalization Initiative and the Fund for Downtown Programming. The Fund for Downtown Programing is one of 10 projects funded by the DRI and was awarded $600,000 by New York state to be administered through Homes and Community Renewal, the state’s Housing Trust Fund Corporation and facilitated by the Jamestown Local Development Corporation. The Fund for Downtown Programming supports programming that attracts a range of audiences to Jamestown’s downtown and Riverwalk throughout the year and encourages an influx of patrons to downtown businesses, maximizing economic impact of the event. These financial resources are expected to supplement and increase efforts currently undertaken by individual cultural attractions and local foundations.
