Quilters’ Guild To Hold Annual Holiday Dinner

WESTFIELD — The Westfield Quilters’ Guild will hold its annual holiday dinner at the Westfield YWCA on Thursday, Nov. 21, at 6 p.m.

Dinner is potluck with drinks provided. The guild will distribute all of the comfort quilts members have made throughout the year.

More than 130 quilts will be given to the Salvation Army Anew Center, Chautauqua County Hospice, Chautauqua County CAP (Children’s Advocacy Program), Court Appointed Special Advocates, Chautauqua County Home, Chautauqua Rural Ministries, Jamestown DAR for Buffalo Veteran’s Hospital, Union Relief – Springwood and the TEAM Program (Teen Education and Motherhood) of Chautauqua County.

In addition, quilts were gifted to the Royal Family’s Kids Camp during the summer and to a family who lost their home to a fire last spring.

Members and visitors are welcome to join.
