Reg Lenna Center For The Arts To Screen Shakespeare Film ‘All Is True’

Kenneth Branagh directs and stars as William Shakespeare in “All Is True” showing Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Reg Lenna Center for The Arts.

Admission is $5.

The year is 1613, and Shakespeare is acknowledged as the greatest writer of the age. But disaster strikes when his renowned Globe Theatre burns to the ground. Devastated, Shakespeare returns to Stratford, where he must face a troubled past and a neglected family. Haunted by the death of his only son, Hamnet, he struggles to mend the broken relationship with his wife and daughters. In so doing, he is ruthlessly forced to examine his own failings as a husband and father. “All Is True” is rated PG-13 and is 101 minutes long. The film also features Judi Dench (“Tea with the Dames”) and Ian McKellan (“Mr. Holmes”).

Upcoming movies at Reg Lenna Center for The Arts include Taron Egerton as Elton John in the musical fantasy “Rocketman” showing Wednesday, July 24, at 7 p.m.
