Falconer Area Youth Selected For Boys State
FALCONER — The Henry Mosher Post 638 American Legion, Henry Mosher Squadron 638 Sons of the American Legion and Jamestown Vietnam Veterans are proud to have sent five Falconer High School juniors, Jedd Jaroszynski, Bryce Baglia, John Kozlowski, Jonathan Bellardo and Matthew Moore, to Boys State. It was held at Morrisville College from June 27 to July 2.
Jaroszynski completed his junior year at Falconer High School. He is the son of Julie Jaroszynski of Falconer. He plays baseball on the Falconer team and was chosen for the sportsman award. He has worked for Barmore Sellstrom for the past two years.
Baglia is the son of Chris and Shannon of Falconer. He just completed his junior year. He is active on the Student Council as secretary for the Class of 2020. He has varsity letters in cross country, wrestling and track.
Kozlowski completed his junior year. He is the son of David and Shondae of Kennedy and John and Shani of Youngstown, N.Y. He is a member of the wrestling and football teams. Kozlowski has been recognized as a Scholar Athlete throughout his high school career. This summer, Kozlowski plans to attend college and study mechanical engineering.
Bellardo is the son of John and Lisa of Jamestown. He completed his junior year at Falconer. He has played baseball, football, track and wrestling at Falconer. He plans to go to college to become a physician’s assistant.
Moore is the son of Christopher of Falconer. He recently completed his junior year at Falconer. He has been active in sports throughout his high school career. Moore has also been president of the Key Club, a member of the Honor Society and received the Xerox Award for Innovation and Information Technology from The University of Rochester.
