The congregation at Lakewood United Methodist Church, 164 Shadyside Ave., have welcomed Colton Cappalino into membership through confirmation. Cappalino went through a 10-week course of study and affirmed his love for Christ before the whole congregation.

On their side, the congregation has promised to support him and encourage his growth in faith. Cappalino is son of James and Ann Cappalino and brother to Addison.

He is also the grandson of Arlene and Don Christopherson of Jamestown.
