Kiara Marchincin of Frewsburg has been chosen to receive the chosen to receive the Bethany College Presidential Scholarship, which provides recipients with a full-tuition scholarship to reward outstanding achievements.

Bethany College President Rev. Dr. Tamara Nichols Rodenberg brought the scholarship to the college in 2017 to honor those in highest academic standing.

Students are selected after undergoing a thorough application process, as well as on-campus interviews with a panel of three faculty members.

The application process includes a completed application for admission, official high school transcripts, SAT and ACT scores, as well as a required essay.

A 2019 graduate of Frewsburg Central School, Kiara is the daughter of Wendy and Mark Marchincin.
