On April 13, the 2019 Chautuaqua County’s Sons of the American Legion, Legion Riders and American Legion Auxiliary held its “They marched for us, let’s walk for them Walk-a-Thon,” at the Riverwalk/National Comedy Center Plaza. Members walked for pledges, sponsored someone to walk, donated for a good cause or just came and enjoyed the community. All funds raised will go to the care of area veterans, NY Veteran Care Facilities, the Fisher House and Homeless Veterans, among others. The group raised over $3,600.
