The Chautauqua County Society of Artists will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, at the Celoron Community Building in Lucille Ball Memorial Park.

The guest artist will be Anne Jackson from the Beaded Forest who will lead the group in the making of a dragonfly pendant. Jackson is a member of the group who is an expert in glass beading. She and her husband make unique artwork using turned wood and inlaid beads. She has requested that members bring scissors and eyeglasses.

At the society’s last meeting, Christine Roessler from the Warren area led members in the making of pictures using beach glass. Twenty members were present. Cookies and pop were served.

The general public is invited to the meetings with the hope that they will want to become members. There is a $10 materials fee for the class for non-members.
