The Chautauqua County Counselors’ Association presented two scholarships to local students. These students were nominated by their school counselor for their achievements in high school.

Carley Westphal from Jamestown High School will be attending SUNY Fredonia and will be studying psychology. Carley has been very involved at JHS as the Drum Major in marching band, National Honor Society, dance both competitive and recreational. She is a member of Key Club, A’Cappella and secretary of her class. She has received honors for public speaking, JCC mathletics and is on the JCC Dean’s list.

Lily Constantino will be graduating from Southwestern Central High School and will be attending Jamestown Community College to study early childhood education. While attending Southwestern, Lily was very involved in extracurricular activities including volleyball, track and field, choir, and she took piano lessons. Lily was secretary of the photography club, coordinator for the wellness day and team captain for the varsity volleyball team.
