Election Board Announces Early Voting Sites

MAYVILLE — The Chautauqua County Board of Elections has officially designated three early voting sites in Mayville, Dunkirk and Lakewood for Chautauqua County’s November 2019 General Election.

The three sites designated are:

¯ Board of Elections Offices, Hall R. Clothier Building, 7 N Erie St., Mayville

¯ Chautauqua Mall, 318 E Fairmount Ave., Lakewood

¯ Chautauqua County Fairgrounds, 4-H Building/Ag & Expo Center, 1089 Central Ave. Dunkirk

Early Voting Poll Site Hours: Saturday, Oct. 26 (noon-5 p.m.); Sunday, Oct. 27 (noon-5 p.m.); Monday, Oct. 28 (noon-8 p.m.); Tuesday, Oct. 29 (noon-8 p.m.); Wednesday, Oct. 30 (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.); Thursday, Oct. 31 (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.); Friday, Nov. 1 (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.); Saturday, Nov. 2 (noon-5 p.m.); Sunday, Nov. 3 (noon-5 p.m.); additionally, starting at 8:30 a.m. at the Board of Elections offices in Mayville October 28-31, 2019

Early Voting Poll Sites will not be open on Monday, Nov. 4.

All voters in Chautauqua County will be eligible to participate in Early Voting at any one of three poll sites. Sample ballots will be available to view on Monday, Sept. 23, for the November 2019 Election at votechautuauqua.com.

The November General Election will be the only Election with Early Voting in 2019.

“Board of Elections staff is working to ensure that the early voting rollout for our county is customer friendly and efficient.

New equipment will be purchased to facilitate early voting using approximately $200,000 in grant money provided for this purpose to Chautauqua County by Gov. Cuomo and the State Legislature,” said election commissioners Norman P. Green and Brian C. Abram.
