‘Gloria Bell,’ ‘Lego Movie 2’ To Be Screened At Reg Lenna

Julianne Moore stars in the romantic comedy “Gloria Bell” at Reg Lenna Center for The Arts on Wednesday, April 17, at 7 p.m. The animated “The Lego Movie 2” shows Friday, April 19, at 7 p.m., as a sensory friendly showing Saturday, April 20, at 2 p.m., and as a weekday matinee Wednesday, April 24, at 2 p.m.
Admission to each film is $5.
Julianne Moore stars as “Gloria Bell” — a free-spirited divorcee who spends her nights on the dance floor letting loose at clubs around Los Angeles. She soon finds herself thrust into an unexpected new romance filled with the joys of budding love and the complications of dating. “Gloria Bell” is directed by Sebastian Lelio (2018 Best Foreign Feature “A Fantastic Woman”.) The film is rated R and is 102 minutes long.
In “The Lego Movie 2” the citizens of Bricksburg face a dangerous new threat when LEGO DUPLO invaders from outer space start to wreck everything in their path. The battle to defeat the enemy and restore harmony to the LEGO universe takes Emmet, Lucy, Batman and the rest of their friends to faraway, unexplored worlds that test their courage and creativity. The film is rated PG and is 107 minutes long. During sensory friendly screenings, the sound will be lower and lights kept up higher to help patrons with sensitivity issues. Also, patrons may move around in the seats and talk during the screening without stigma.
