Randolph Twins Receive Altar Awards

Maverick and Eve Adams, 12, of Randolph were honored at the 50th annual Bishop’s Altar Server Awards Ceremony recently.

Bishop Richard J. Malone presided over the mass for more than 70 area altar servers who were chosen from their parishes.

Maverick and Eve are the children of Steven and Jenn Adams of Conewango and grandchildren of Russ and Mary Jo Riddell of Randolph and Kathy Adams and the late Ken Adams of Conewango.

The twins were chosen to present the gifts to the bishop during the mass. A banquet was held in celebration at the Buffalo Convention Center following the mass.

Maverick and Eve are seventh-graders at Randolph Central School. Eve enjoys volleyball, Drama Club, dance and skiing. Maverick participates in football, karate, skiing and snowmobiling. Both children are active on the family dairy farm.

Maverick and Eve have been altar serving at St. Patrick’s parish in Randolph for four years.
