Four Dunkirk Residents Face Drug Charges

DUNKIRK — Four Dunkirk residents face charges after a search warrant was served in Dunkirk on Thursday night.

According to a Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department news release, the search warrant was served at 7:40 p.m. Thursday at 50 W. Second St., Dunkirk, after a six-month investigation by Dunkirk police officers and members of the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force into the sale and distribution of drugs from the home.

The investigation lead to arrest warrants being issued for Alexander Diaz-Torres, 32, and Irvin Reyes-Pacheco, 22. When members of the Dunkirk Police Department, Dunkirk Police SRT and the drug task force executed the search warrant, they allegedly found Diaz-Torres and Reyes-Pacheco inside the home and arrested them on the warrants that had been issued. Officers report finding cocaine in the house.

Diaz-Torres and Pacheco were charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. Two other people in the home when the search warrant was served, Pedro Corraliza Jr., 26, of Dunkirk, and Shakira Ayala-Valentine, 22, of Dunkirk, were charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

They were all taken to the Dunkirk City Jail until they could be arraigned.
